How to track the performance of my campaign?
You can quickly check how your campaign is performing via the “Campaigns” tab in the Audience Campaigns menu. In one glance, you will see if it is over- delivering, on track or under-delivering:
To check performances in more detail, please use the tab “Campaigns Performance”:
- Select a period of time on the top right corner (data available since September 1st 2021).
- There are 2 top filters available:
- Campaign type: users can filter out for Goal, Pinned or Conversion campaigns.
- Campaign name: users can pick the specific campaign(s) they want to monitor.
The report reflects all campaigns (running or not) that had traffic in the selected time frame, unless they are archived.
- The following breakdowns are available:
- By Campaign (default)
- By Day
- By Platform
- By Widget
As for the classic Performance report, a second breakdown is available. It allows, for e.g, to break down the data by Day & by Platform.
- Via the “Filter by” menu, you can filter by:
- Status (for the “by campaign” breakdown)
- Impressions
- Clicks
- CTR
- Avg Click Value
- Campaign Value
As a reminder, a click value acts as a ghost CPC. When used, the content will be displayed based on its RPM (CTR x click value).
Once you have selected your filtering options and breakdowns, the following data are available:
- Impressions: number of AC listings served within the Outbrain placements.
- Clicks: number of clicks on Audience Campaigns listings.
- CTR: AC clicks divided by AC impression
Additional information: Campaign names are clickable and lead users to the campaign details page, where you can see the performance by ad and edit the campaign.
